The destinations covered in these pages are places we’ve been to in the last few years that are more holiday places than places we’d choose to spend two-three months. The articles are not meant to be a detailed travelogue of the destination, just a few personal observations, thoughts and occasional tips, plus a pile of photos. If we actually stayed in the place and liked the accommodation, the hotel etc that we used is covered in the ‘Places to Stay ‘ page. If we didn’t like it, a review will be missing or very short!
