Do you have a yearning to spend time in other places, other countries? Free to do it? If you're retired or can take a sabbatical, it's easy. Just lock up the house and head for somewhere warm! On this site, we'd like to share our experiences since we decided to spend part of the year - mainly the colder European months - seeing various parts of the world. We're not travellers in the back-pack sense; we like to go somewhere & settle for two or three months, getting to know it, feeling part of it. We're not on holiday, just living somewhere else that's warmer, with the added fun of exploring it. Do it right and it costs less than staying at home. We're not trying to cover everything on these pages. The posts are just our experiences - what we've done, where we've been and how we did it. It's great fun and easier than you might think.
